Aspen’s story might break your heart — but his spirit will absolutely melt it. This beautiful, gentle boy came to us as a stray on 4/14, injured and alone. He had painful porcupine quills lodged in his mouth and, after a vet visit, we discovered he’d been surviving by eating trash. Despite everything he’s been through, Aspen is one of the calmest, sweetest souls you’ll ever meet.

He’s a quiet companion who leans into affection and loves to snuggle. There’s something incredibly peaceful about being around him — like he’s just grateful to be safe, warm, and cared for. He’s healing now, both physically and emotionally, and every day his spark shines a little brighter.
