Aspen’s story might break your heart — but his spirit will absolutely melt it. This beautiful, gentle boy came to us as a stray on 4/14, injured and alone. He had painful porcupine quills lodged in his mouth and, after a vet visit, we discovered he’d been surviving by eating trash. Despite everything he’s been through, Aspen is one of the calmest, sweetest souls you’ll ever meet. Aspen would be best in a home without cats.

He’s a quiet companion who leans into affection and loves to snuggle. There’s something incredibly peaceful about being around him — like he’s just grateful to be safe, warm, and cared for. He’s healing now, both physically and emotionally, and every day his spark shines a little brighter.
