Meet Atlas!

This handsome and very friendly boy is 3 years old and has been waiting a long time to find his true family. Atlas would greatly benefit from some house training (though he has some experience with a kennel) and a gentle hand while he learns what security and a furrever home is. Because he was originally a stray, his past is mostly unknown and it is possible he had some negative experiences before being taken in by another shelter and then transferred here as he can be a little hand shy. Atlas can’t wait to find his people and would love a home that will play frisbee and will keep him active and up to date on his grooming. He also absolutely loves kongs with peanut butter or cheese! He is doing amazing with fellow dogs, and was in a home with a young child, however we recommend no children as Atlas can be a little nervous and will take time to realize he is home.
