Grizzly

 Have you seen Grizzly?

Maybe he is initially a little independent and not cuddly or all in your face overwhelmingly excited you came to see him. But I can tell you this…he is 100% different outside of the shelter environment. Grizzly had a few nights of foster away from the shelter in hopes he can catch up on sleep and have a friend help find him a home. Grizzly loves being co-pilot on car rides, he will peak his head out the window and let the breeze and sun soak in. He never tried to be the passenger or take over driving. He quickly curls up and rests. He gets a 10/10 rating for his house manners. Grizzly is very polite. He waits to be welcomed on furniture. He loves his kennel. Went on his own and slept immediately. He sleeps on a comfy bed in front of the patio door. He lays in the kitchen while you cook. Doesn’t beg for food. He has a high prey drive so cats or other smalll animals would need a slow, careful introduction. He is potty trained. He would run to his leash when he was alerting me he had to go. He takes treats gently. Today was the first time I’ve had him initiate play and I’ve spent a lot of time with him. He was so good with toys, let me grab them and play tug a bit. Grizzly is a wonderful boy. He initially pulls on walks but will be a loose leash walker by the end. He knows sit, paw, and down. And is sooo incredibly smart with learning quickly. Allows you to do day to day chores like vacuuming. I didn’t expect night one to get some couch cuddles but long and behold I was paid with some. His sweet snores and squishy face and irresistible.

I promise you are meeting a very good boy ready to blossom in a home!
