I am a timid little guy with a soft soul, and big watchful eyes. At 2.5 years old I am still finding my confidence and would love a calm, understanding home where I can feel safe and secure. Spike is naturally shy and easily overwhelmed by loud noises or sudden movements, so he would do best in a quiet environment without young kids or large dogs. He’s not the kind of pup to jump into action – instead, he’ll quietly observe from the sidelines until he’s ready to join in. Once he’s comfortable he will show his affection in sweet and subtle ways- whether it’s a gentle nuzzle, following you from room to room, or curling up nearby for comfort. He doesn’t ask for much- just a soft bed, a peaceful home and someone who understands that trust takes time.
